Agricultural Business Management Program (ABM) Partnering with the OSU Extension Farms & Gardens Program and the Lane SBDC Agricultural Business Management Program. The Agricultural Business Management Program is designed for local farmers and agricultural professionals who want to build and improve the business side of their enterprise and increase their horticulture capacity. The ABM program contains classroom training, practical applications, and on-site evaluations (of soils; insect; disease; weed issues; crop production; pesticides; and more). Classes are designed to provide you with current, practical information, and a methodology to apply it with advising that allows you to work on your unique challenges. ABM is a year-long series of nine classes with personalized one-on-one coaching. ABM is an open enrollment program, allowing entry at any time. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) This class is held in partnership with PeaceHealth and Customized Employee Training Department. ACLS is designed to provide American Heart Association (AHA) standards, cardiac knowledge, and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional care of the cardiac patient. ACLS addresses the core knowledge necessary to evaluate and manage an adult victim of a cardiovascular emergency or cardiac arrest. Program includes: patient assessment, airway management, electrical, and drug therapy. Basic ECG interpretation is helpful and Basic Life Support for HCP card is included at no extra charge. Course structure is lecture and hands-on skill stations with written examination and satisfactory performance at the evaluation stations according to AHA performance criteria. Advanced homework required! ACLS Provider Manual required. (Due to American Heart Association’s regulations and pricing, the material costs are subject to change.) Note: PeaceHealth Employees - all required pre-study materials (books, cds, and algorithm cards) must be checked out at the Professional Library at RiverBend.
