| The Citizenship class helps prepare candidates for their U.S. Citizenship interview/test. Topics covered include U.S. history and government, and information about the interview and application process. Candidates must have some English speaking, reading, and writing skills as these are part of the interview/test. USCIS requires candidates to have held Permanent Resident Cards (Green Cards) for five years when interviewing/testing for citizenship (applications can be sent three months ahead of time), or 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen. |
