| Vet assistants help Veterinarians and Vet Techs care for animals. This course covers the basics of pet grooming, restraint, sanitation, simple laboratory tests, scheduling, recordkeeping, disaster and holistic medicine and customer service. This class will include a field trip to Greenhill. Upon successful completion of this training course, you are eligible for an on-the-job learning experience (internship) through Cooperative Education (Co-op). Co-op courses are regular credit courses that cost the same as other credit courses and are eligible for financial aid.
