| This American Heart Association class is offered for Health Care Providers and fulfills the requirement for students taking the CNA and Nursing Programs at Lane. This class provides information on cardiovascular health and risk factors, hands-on participation of AHA's basic life support techniques for choking victims, rescue breathing and CPR for all ages. Students are introduced to and participate in the use of CPR and AED and must then prove competencies and pass a written exam. Successful completion results in issuance of AHA Healthcare Provider card good for two years. | ||||||||||
