| MTH 065B - Elementary Algebra: Part B |

Prerequisite: MTH 065A or equivalent course completed with a grade of "C-" or better within the past two years. This is Part B of a four part, individual credit, sequence of courses that when completed are equivalent to MTH 065. This course covers rules of exponents and operations with polynomials. It also covers an introduction to factoring and scientific notation. Each new topic incorporates review of previously learned skills and application problems.
