MTH 065 - Elementary Algebra |
Prerequisite: Within the past four terms completed MTH 060 or equivalent course with a grade of C- or better or pass a placement test through the Testing Office. This is the second term of a two-term sequence in introductory algebra. Students having successfully completed MTH 060 should continue with this course in preparation for taking Intermediate Algebra (MTH 095). Topics include systems of linear equations, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, rational expressions, exponents, and radicals. Scientific Calculator is required.
