HDFS 226E - Desarrollo del Niño
Este curso se imparte completamente en español. Curso enfocado en el estudio del desarrollo del niño desde el nacimiento hasta la adolescencia enfatizando las influencias prenatales, análisis de teorías sobre el desarrollo infantil, instrucción y experiencia en la observación y registro del comportamiento del niño pequeño; abarcando el estudio de las diferencias entre los adultos y niños así como la importancia del juego y la disciplina. Los estudiantes de Educación Infantil deberán cursar HDFS 226 o HDFS 226 E This course is taught fully in Spanish including all lessons, materials, homework, assignments, quizzes and exams. Study of the physical, social-emotional, and intellectual development of the child from birth through adolescence. Some emphasis on prenatal influences. A survey of various child-study approaches. Instruction and experience in observing and recording the behavior of young children. Study of adult-child differences, value of play, and discipline. Early Childhood Education majors must take either HDFS 226 or HDFS 226E.
