NRS 113A - Transition to Registered Nurse |
The transition course (NRS 113A/B) has been developed with the NRS 112A/B course outcomes in mind. By meeting the 112A/B outcomes, the paramedic and LPN Bridge students will demonstrate readiness for the 2nd year of the ADN program.
The NRS 113 A/B Transition Course for LPNs and Paramedics was developed through an analysis of the existing gaps and overlaps in skills and concepts. The course concepts are taught through lecture, case studies, simulation, and laboratory activities. Students will create care plans and utilize the clinical decision model to promote safety and wellness of clients and families experiencing acute and chronic conditions in a variety of healthcare settings.
