ENGR 221 - Electrical Fundamentals 1 |
Circuits will be analyzed via Kirchoff's Laws with an emphasis on linear, idealized circuit elements including current and voltage sources, resistors, capacitors, inductors and op amps. Circuit techniques and theorems will be applied to circuits containing passive and active sources. Transient responses of passive and active circuits will be addressed. The course emphasizes a combination of conceptual understanding, mathematical analysis, lab experiments and computer simulations.
