Continuation of preclinical skills in instrumentation, evaluation of clients, treatment planning and client education. Didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction, with emphasis on removal of deposits, preparation for clients and the application of preventive dental procedures. Client care begins with the child, adolescent and adult patient with limited periodontal needs. Must be admitted into the Dental Hygiene program.
