Advanced and contemporary screen-printing techniques and theory. The curriculum builds on basic skills by focusing on the continued and enhanced development of traditional and progressive techniques. Students will study application of water-based inks and fabric dyes, emphasizing the development of both skill and personal image making. This course also introduces applied computer and modern technology in screen-printing. The objective of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to develop and enhance a comprehensive foundation in the medium. Contents and expected learning proficiencies of this course vary from term to term. May be repeated up to 8 total credits.
