ECON 202 - Introduction to Macroeconomics |
Macroeconomics studies the economy as a whole, economic aggregates and broad economic issues such as the economic growth, gross domestic product, unemployment, price inflation or deflation, money supply, government surpluses or deficits, and the level of exports and imports. The course builds a solid foundation of macroeconomic knowledge so students can better understand the functioning of national economies as well as the reasons and consequences of government macroeconomic policies. MTH 111Z or ECON 200 are strongly recommended.
