Prerequisite: Minimum reading score of 68 (Accuplacer) or 241 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR minimum writing score of 64 (Accuplacer) or 226 (Next Gen Accuplacer) OR RD 080 OR RD 087 And EL115 OR Prior College. Comprehensive skills necessary for the fabrication of metal products. This course introduces basic blueprint reading and shop fabrication techniques, shielded metal arc, GMAW, and gas tungsten arc welding processes. These skills are learned in the context of assigned and graded practice projects and written tests.
