MTH 020D - Math Renewal: Part D |
Prerequisite: MTH 020C or equivalent course completed with a grade of "C-" or better within the past two years. This is Part D of a four part, individual credit, sequence of courses that when completed are equivalent to MTH 020. If you have taken a higher level math course than this and passed the course with a "C-" or better, you may not use this course for your degree/certificate requirements. This course begins with an introduction to data and statistics including averages and reading graphs. It then focuses on measurement and unit conversions and finishes with basic geometry in a problem-solving context. Each new topic incorporates review of previously learned skills and application problems. The last exam for this credit will be comprehensive over the material in the entire MTH 020 course.
