FYE 199 - College and Career Essentials |
This course provides students with information, skills, and strategies that will enhance their success at Lane Community College. Students will be introduced to a variety of opportunities that will help them make sound academic, career, and financial decisions in order to efficiently achieve their desired outcomes, including program completion, employment, and/or further education. Students taking this course can expect to explore their interests, strengths, values, and life goals, engage in academic, career, and financial planning, and learn about and explore campus and community services, systems, resources. Students will also learn about and apply their rights and responsibilities within the college environment, as well as develop a deeper sense of community.
