| TA 272_H - Introduction to Theatre-Honors |

Introduces students to the art and business of contemporary theatre. Topics include playwriting, theatre history, and contemporary production practices. Emphasis is placed on the value of theatre arts to society and the individual. No performing required. No materials to buy. Includes free attendance at local theatrical productions. May be offered online. This honors class delves deeper into course topics and requires a high level of student motivation; the pace may be faster than non-honors courses. See www.lanecc.edu/honors for information. Students cannot receive credit for both TA 272 and TA 272_H.
