GEOG 142 - Introduction to Human Geography |
This course is an introduction to the field of human geography. Students will explore the relationships between people and the places and spaces in which they live. The course focuses on various sub-themes of human geography such as: demographics, religion, economics, food, migration, ethnicity, political systems, and globalization. Students will use maps, graphs, and mapping technology to collect, organize and display geographic information related to the patterns of human geography. This course fulfills the race, gender, and ethnicity requirement. This course may be offered online.
