Prerequisite: HO100, HO150 and HO152 (or BI231 and BI233 with a C or better) and corequisite HIM154. Students gain a working knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding with exposure in abstracting and identifying
co rrect outpatient procedure (C PT) codes and HCPCS codes per guidelines and will utilize Encoder programs . This is an online course.
