Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in CH 104 or instructor consent. The second term of the standard General, Organic and Biological Chemistry sequence. This introduction to organic and biological chemistry includes hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, carboxylic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and an introduction to metabolic pathways. Lecture and lab. With BI 112, meets the prerequisite for Anatomy and Physiology 1, BI 231.
