| MTH 065B - Elementary Algebra: Part B |
|
Prerequisite: Within the past two years completed MTH 065A or equivalent course with a grade of "C-" or better. This is Part B of a four part, individual credit, sequence of courses that when completed are equivalent to MTH 065. This course covers rules of exponents and operations with polynomials. It also covers an introduction to factoring and scientific notation. Each new topic incorporates review of previously learned skills and application problems.
