Traditional and contemporary applications in fiber arts. Provides the opportunity to study non-woven textile processes. The content emphasizes a different focus from term to term, including: two- and three-dimensional fiber construction; art quilt construction, feltmaking, bookbinding, papermaking, and fabric printing; natural and synthetic dyeing; resist techniques of surface design; and chemical and mechanical techniques to manipulate cloth.
