GEOG 142 - Introduction to Human Geography |
This course is an introduction to human geography patterns and concepts that help explain the spatial distribution for contemporary cultures. Concepts of region, movement of cultural ideas, and human interaction with their natural and built environment are stressed. Globalizations and changes in cultures resulting from environmental alterations will be presented. Changing cultural patterns will be explored and analyzed using maps, videos, and in-class exercises. This course fulfills the race, gender, and ethnicity requirement.
