| EMT 272 - Emergency Medical Technology-Paramedic Part 2 |

Prerequisite: EMT 270. Corequisite: EMT 273. Part 2 of a 3 part series of lecture and lab with a focus on burns, soft tissue injuries, orthopedic injuries, head injuries, environmental injuries; obstetrics, neonatology, gynecological emergencies, pediatrics, diabetes, nervous system disorders, abdominal problems, renal failure and anaphylaxis.
Program graduates complete requirements for national paramedic certification and state licensure, which includes examinations administered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
