| RT 146 - Introduction to Clinical Respiratory Care |

Prerequisite: Acceptance into Respiratory Care Program or consent of instructor.
Orientation to respiratory care profession and affiliated clinical sites. Topics include job requirements, professional credentialing, training for HIPAA, infection control, blood-borne pathogen, harassment, and general hospital policy/procedure. Observational rotations at clinical sites required.
