| RT 114 - Fundamentals of Respiratory Care |

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Respiratory Care Program.
Instruction in basic patient care skills relevant to the respiratory care practitioner. Topics include legal/ethical issues, patient positioning/safety, body mechanics, infection control, medical documentation/communication, medication administration. Skills demonstrated in laboratory setting.
