| HIT 222 - Reimbursement Methodologies |

Prerequisite: HO 112, and HIT 160.
Successful completion of this course with a C or better will enable students to understand common healthcare reimbursement methodologies, compliance standards, and AHIMA approved coding principles. Students will also become familiar with value based purchaing and other revenue cycle management concepts.
