CS 289 - Cisco Router and Switch Administration |
Prerequisite: CS 279 or instructor consent. This course primarily covers configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches. It deals with modern networking processes and protocols used by internetworking devices such as hubs, bridges, routers, and switches with particular emphasis on routers. Wide area networking technologies are also covered. Students will learn to configure and manage routers and switches through hands-on lab work and learn to use protocol analysis software.
