Prerequisite: EMT 272 EMT 273 Corequisite EMT 274.
Course is part 1 of a 2 part paramedic internship on a 911 ambulance under the close supervision of a paramedic preceptor. Students learn to identify pertinent findings and how to prioritize treatment and transport decisions. Students may serve as team leader in a variety of pre-hospital advanced life support emergency medical situations.
