Prerequisites: Math 65 & GIS 245, or Consent of instructor
This course is the third in a series of Geographic Information Science and Technology courses. The course will focus on the development of skills and techniques used to create, analyze, and display spatial data in a geographic information system. The following skills and techniques will be emphasized: data and project management, digitizing, editing, and spatial analysis. Access to a current computer outside of class (new within last 3 years) is strongly recommended. Students who do not have access to a computer may be at a disadvantage.
