Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Relate personal artistic expression within the context of historical and contemporary sculpting methods 2. Apply form/concept relationships in their work 3. Utilize mold-making and casting techniques used in contemporary sculpture 4. Discuss and defend their artwork in a thoughtful manner 5. Utilize sculptural processes such as mold making, casting, welding and patina work 6.
