Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify specific developmental stages and issues as related to the newborn 2. Identify developmental characteristics and developmental needs of infants and toddlers in the areas of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and language development 3. Select developmentally appropriate care techniques for infants and toddlers 4.
