Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Analyze music containing secondary predominant & dominants, Neapolitan sixth, augmented sixth chords, sequence and modulatory passages in various compositions from 1700 to the present time 2. Interpret harmonic context and structure at an intermediate level 3. Realize chords with correct voice leading from a given figured-bass in SATB 4.
