Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Recognize and apply problem solving strategies to solve routine and non-routine problems; Use Venn Diagrams to solve problems 2. Recognize and apply strategies with number theory topics; Understand “prime” and “composite” numbers and be able to apply the divisibility rules 3. Recognize and apply strategies with number theory topics; Understand and apply the techniques for finding the greatest common divisor and the least common multiple 4.
