Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify best practices and techniques that prevent or treat infection and injuries in the childcare setting for children of all abilities 2. Explain preparation and planning for emergency situations in the child care setting for children of all abilities 3. Identify elements of healthy childhood habits for children in inclusive settings 4. Describe the effects of child maltreatment and how to recognize and report child abuse 5.
