Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Describe differences between and uses for core graphic and digital imaging software used in media design 2. Share documents using digital file sharing software 3. Navigate commands/menus/palettes/functions for vector-based software 4. Navigate commands/menus/palettes/functions for bitmap software 5. Locate, use, and provide attribution for imagery that is publicly available for free and legal sharing, use, repurposing, and remixing 6. Analyze and critique design decisions in projects relative to desired objectives 7. Manage digital files using concepts of basic computer literacy 8.
