Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Research and define website goals and inventory content to develop an organizational design strategy and prepare related professional-level planning documents 2. Create effective and stylistically consistent website interface/layout designs which incorporate elements appropriate to the website goals, client needs, and target audience; refine designs based on feedback 3. Design a clear and functional website navigation system 4. Identify and address current cross-platform and/or cross-browser issues with particular attention to user experience 5. Identify and correct issues in accommodating users with disabilities 6. Use advanced CSS techniques with emphasis on layout and typographic styling 7. Select and employ effective web writing styles and multimedia elements to convey information to a target audience 8.
