Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Integrate the principles of kinematics to enhance the patient assessment and predict the likelihood of injuries based on the patient’s mechanism of injury 2. Integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for the patient with soft tissue trauma, burn injury, suspected head injury, suspected spinal cord injury, thoracic injury, abdominal injury, musculoskeletal injury, shock and/or hemorrhage 3. Integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for the trauma patient 4. Integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for the patient with an environmentally induced or exacerbated condition Required Materials: Technical Requirements: |
