Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Explain the history and evolution of the human services movement, and apply information to emerging issues in the field 2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles and ethics of the human services worker 3. Identify the various systems and helping roles common to the human services profession 4.
