Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify and communicate the major issues and concepts pertaining to the mental dynamics of exercise and sport 2. Apply appropriate exercise and sport psychology, skills and techniques, as a professional in the field, to both clients and athletes 3. Engage in critical thinking and conveying ideas regarding exercise and sports concepts through meaningful discussion and projects 4. Apply appropriate exercise and sport theories, skills, and techniques to one’s own sport and exercise experiences 5.
