Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Describe information related to anatomy and physiology utilizing appropriate terminology 2. Explain the physiological functions of the lymphatic, endocrine, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive system using appropriate anatomical terms 3. Identify the dietary sources of the essential nutrients — carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals — and the major functions of the macronutrients in the body 4.
