Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Describe and safely and properly conduct common organic chemistry techniques 2. Apply laboratory techniques to the preparation and/or characterization of a variety of organic compounds 3. Use analytical techniques to determine information about purity and identity of chemical substances 4. Use chemical references to gather information about organic compounds 5.
