Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify and define key issues and related program, division, college, workplace, state, and federal policies related to physical therapy practice 2. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the physical therapy clinical environment using proper and current workplace etiquette, format, and content, modifying approach to meet the needs of the diverse audience 3. Evaluate/self-assess one’s own skills, abilities, and attitudes related to the physical therapy career field, reflecting on prior work history, successes, failures, and obstacles throughout the process 4. Think critically about workplace performance practices and expectations and their impact on others 5.
