Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify and demonstrate an understanding of the technical procedures and creator’s role in art throughout the history of cultural production 2. Demonstrate and effectively communicate an understanding of the impact of religious, philosophical, and political conditions on cultural production and communities 3. Interpret and apply their understanding of the use and meaning of symbols and iconography throughout history to current issues, culture or history 4.
