Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Explore and strengthen physical and vocal awareness and expression in a safe and supportive environment during in-class exercises and performances 2. Engage and strengthen empathy, small group communication, and problem-solving skills during class discussion and performance activities 3. Learn and apply improv vocabulary and concepts by teaching improv games to fellow students 4. Discern the strengths and weaknesses of the performance work of others, reflect on one's own personal and artistic growth and develop expectations for advanced 5.
