Learning Objectives: Students who successfully complete this course will be able to: 1. Identify and define the dynamics of co-occurring disorders 2. Understand the efficacy of best practices for integrated treatment 3. Recognize and implement integrated case management strategies 4. Recognize the importance of a comprehensive community support system 5. Have a basic knowledge of the DM-IV-TR as a reference guide with the ability to access pertinent information for assessment purposes 6. Have a basic knowledge of ASAM criteria 7.
