Associated Term: Spring 2022
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the successful student should be able to: 1. Check and service fuel dump systems. 2. Perform fuel management, transfer, and refueling. 3. Inspect, check, and repair pressure fueling systems. 4. Repair aircraft and engine fuel system components. 5. Inspect and repair fluid quantity indicating systems. 6. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engine fuel systems. 7. Troubleshoot, service, and repair fluid pressure and temperature warning systems. 8. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair electronic flight instrument systems, and both mechanical and electrical heading, speed, altitude, temperature, pressure, and position indicating systems to include the use of built in test equipment. 9. Install instruments and perform a static system pressure leak test. 10. Troubleshoot, service and repair electrical and mechanical fluid rate-of-flow indicating systems. 11. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical engine temperature, pressure, and RPM indicating systems. 12. Inspect, check, and service smoke and carbon monoxide detection systems. 13. Inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engine fire detection and extinguishing systems. 14. Weigh aircraft. 15. Perform complete weight-and-balance check and record data.
