Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate and apply knowledge of complex elements of music theory through part writing and analysis at an advanced level. (CLO 1.3, 3.4, 5.2) 2. Realize chords from a given figured bass for complex harmonic progressions at an advanced level. (CLO 5.2) 3. Analyze the form and structure of music involving chromatic harmony through listening and analysis. (CLO 1.1, 1.5, 3.1, 4.4, 5.2) 4. Analyze the form and structure of non tonal and atonal music.
