Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1- Explore and strengthen physical and vocal awareness and expression in a safe and supportive environment during in-class exercises and performances. 2- Engage and strengthen empathy, small group communication, and problem-solving skills during class discussion and performance activities. 3- Learn and apply improv vocabulary and concepts by teaching improv games to fellow students. 4- Discern the strengths and weaknesses of the performance work of others, reflect on one's own personal and artistic growth and develop expectations for advanced 5- Theatre Arts courses relating to performance in a class discussion and final written assignment.
