Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Understand manifestations of stress and relaxation responses and learn how to elicit the relaxation response. 2. Learn techniques of meditation. 3. Learn techniques which promote meditation. 4. Learn how to apply meditation and relaxation techniques to everyday life. 5. Enhance flexibility, postural alignment and stress reduction. 6. Have enough information about, and experience of, meditation to choose a method or methods appropriate for you. 7.
