CA 125 - Seasonal Baking and Pastry 2
Associated Term: Spring 2022
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1- Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental baking and pastry techniques and methods. 2- Develop essential baking and pastry skills with some proficiency 3- Develop an understanding the core values of baking seasonally with fresh ingredients, along with supporting the local, agricultural community. 4- Demonstrate an awareness of Oregon agriculture and its organic and sustainable values 5- Have knowledge of fundamental baking techniques as well as the current culinary trends. 6- Have knowledge of sustainable cuisine practices of farms, markets, vendors and restaurants
